Installing random game mods you find on the internet isn't always the safest idea. As it turns out, some popular
Grand Theft Auto V mods contain a healthy dose of malware, and should be removed immediately if you've already downloaded and installed them. One of the offending mods is Angry Planes, which sends planes of all sizes to attack your in-game character. While the mod was fun and clever enough to be featured on websites such as PC Gamer and Kotaku, it also contains a keylogger called Fade.exe that was installed alongside the necessary game modifications. Another popular mod, No Clip, also contained the Fade.exe keylogger. Both have since been removed from GTA5-Mods.com, and the popular mod website says they will be reviewing and improving their mod approval process following this nasty incident.
