Trusted Reviews did an AMD Socket AM2 Motherboard Group Test - they have decided to take a look at five boards on the market, based on the nForce 570 SLI, nForce 590 SLI and ATI CrossFire Express 3200 chipsets for AMD socket AM2:

Abit KN9 SLI - A solid stable board, at a more than reasonable price. Good enough for some mild overclocking, and well worth considering.

Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe - This is a well laid out board, and overclocks the best out of the selection. However, the stability issue had me concerned, and there is no real 3D performance benefit over the nForce 570 SLI Chipset Abit board. However, Asus has obviously tweaked the BIOS somewhat as it was consistently faster by a few seconds.

Foxconn C51XEM2AA - This is without a doubt a good motherboard with many great features. However, it is hard to get hold of and still a little on the pricey side. This offers very little over the Abit, but I would certainly choose it over the Asus or Gigabyte

Gigabyte GA-M59SLI-S5 - This is a pretty well specced out board with a good layout. However, the BIOS needs work and overclocking is pretty much a no-no.

MSI K9A Platinum - This board is good value for money, performs well and overclocks admirably, with everything in one convenient location. If you're after CrossFire, this is definitely worth consideri
