Amazon.com
has posted up pricing for all the various versions of Windows Vista the
upcoming next PC OS from Microsoft. According to Amazon all the versions will be
released on January 30. Pricing ranges from $99.95 for the upgrade version of
Windows Vista Home Basic all the way to $399.95 for the full version of Windows
Vista Ultimate. Amazon also tells us that
Office 2007 will be available the same day as Vista – January 30, 2007.
Microsoft previously released months ago its Office 2007 price list. But the
company has
been cagey in refusing to confirm definitively
that Vista and Office 2007 would launch together, as planned. The answer, it
appears, is yes :-D
