According to
a report from Japan's Hermitage Akihabara, Nvidia's GTX Titan-Z has already hit channel and will be on store shelves April 29. Coming in at $2,999 before tax (in Japan it will retail for a whopping 3,900 in equivalent US dollars), the card has a pair of 28 nm GK110 GPUs, 880 CUDA cores, 240 TMUs, and 48 ROPs along with 12 GB of GDDR5 memory (6GB per core) on a 384-bit wide memory bus. Unlike the Radeon 295×2, the card is purely air-cooled and does not come with a water cooler. It also takes up some serious real estate in the case, requiring the equivalent of 3 PCIe slots due to its massive cooler.
