Motorola KRZR K1
Motorola has officially announced the successor to the ever popular RAZR (Codenamed Canary). The KRZR is a bit narrow and sports a multi-dimensional, metallic gloss finish for visual depth. The Quad band GSM phone will sports 2 Megapixel camera with MPEG-4 video recording. The music player supports MP3 and AAC files and with the Micro SD card slot you will never run out of memory for your favourite tracks. The KRZR supports EDGE (Class 12) connectivity for high speed net browsing. Other than this the phone includes Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity with A2DP and 176 x 220 display which supports 260k colors and measures 42 103 16 mm.
  • KRZR: The RAZR successor has a narrower profile and new finishes. It features quad-band GSM / EDGE (class 12), a 2 megapixel camera with MPEG-4 video recording, a music player with MP3 and AAC capabilities, stereo Bluetooth, and Motorola's sync and Screen3 technologies.
  • KRZR K1m: A KRZR for CDMA networks. Features EV-DO high speed data, but downgrades the camera to 1.3 megapixels. Also features a media player with touch-sensitive playback keys hidden beneath the glass of the phone's cover, as well as support for location-based services such as turn-by-turn directions.
  • MOTOFONE
RIZR: Shares all of the same features as the GSM KRZR in a slightly wider sliding form factor. The RIZR is more camera-focused than its clamshell cousin - adding a landscape viewfinder mode as well as an LED flash.
  • SLVR L7c: Identical to the original SLVR, including Bluetooth, VGA camera, and microSD card slot, but with CDMA, EV-DO high-speed data, BREW, and support for location-based services.
Motorola has also announced several new phones, including MOTOFONE - a mass-market ultra-thin phone. A 9mm, Motorola's thinnest phone yet. Sports a "ClearVision" display using new Electrophoretic Display (EPD) technology for long battery life and high-contrast viewing in all conditions. All-new user interface using icons and voice aids. Dual antennas - at the top and bottom. Available later this year in both CDMA and GSM versions; and ic502: Motorola's long-rumored first CDMA + iDEN phone.

Also announced were two new RAZR phones, the V3xx and the maxx models, both supporting internet connections up to 3.6Mbps. The RAZR maxx can take up to 2 megapixel quality photos which can be stored on a 2GB MicroSD card.
