AGP users looking for one more card to hold them over until DX10 and Vista
ship next year will be glad to hear that NVIDIA and their board partners are
quietly shipping GeForce 7600 GS AGP cards to the channel as we speak.
The card is aimed at the $159-199 price bracket, NVIDIA says, and it has the
same specifications as the existing PCI Express model:
- 400MHz core clock.
- 400MHz memory clock. [800MHz "effective"]
- 12 pixel pipes.
- 5 vertex shaders
- 256MB of DDR2 DRAM
- 128-bit memory interface
