I hope his parents catch wind of this so that they can help him keep perspective. At this point, it seems that he believes that he's getting these followers because what he's doing in these videos are interesting. In reality, I think he's getting the followers because he seems like a really sweet kid that's just happy being his weird self. My worry is that when his viewership growth slows or declines, he might start thinking that it was his fault because his videos weren't interesting enough. He may not understand that the internet's attention span is incredibly short and that the change has nothing to do with him, his videos, or his actions. I just hope that a kid like this doesn't attach his self-worth to the fickle nature of the internet.
