It is with a great sadness that I must report the tragic death of actor Paul Walker. Reps have confirmed that Walker died in a car crash in California on Saturday, November 30th, 2013, at age 40. Star of the Fast & Furious franchise, reports are saying that Walker was taking his friends out for rides in Santa Clarita in a brand new Porsche GT when the driver he was with lost control and hit a tree. The car then burst into flames and both occupants were killed. Universal, behind the Fast & Furious franchise, has released a statement: "All of us at Universal are heartbroken. Paul was truly one of the most beloved and respected members of our studio family for 14 years, and this loss is devastating to us, to everyone involved with the Fast and Furious films, and to countless fans. We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul's family."
