Nokia
today announced two CDMA phones at a launch in Singapore. Although the
launch included a number of phones directed at Asian subscribers, Nokia stated
these were for CDMA markets and did not single out Asia. It is likely they will
appear in the US in some form. As with past Nokia-produced CDMA phones, these
will not include EV-DO high speed data. Both models are due out in the fourth
quarter of this year.
