Microsoft has announced that it will be ending support for Windows XP and Office 2003 in one year's time, bringing to a close two of the most popular products the company ever created. Support will finish on 8 April, 2014, resulting in no new security updates for these pieces of software. Users will also no longer be able to seek technical support from Microsoft in relation to these older versions.
