VIA has announced a new chipset with integrated DirectX 9.0 graphics for Intel CPUs. Dubbed P4M900, the chipset features support for Intel desktop and mobile processors, including the Core Duo, with front-side bus speeds up to 1066 MHz and DDR2 memory support up to 667 MHz. Inside the P4M900 is a VIA Chrome9 HC integrated graphics processor, which sports DirectX 9.0 with Pixel Shader 2.0 support, two pixel pipelines, and a 250 MHz core clock speed.
