> Short-Media published a review on the Dell Ultrasharp 2405FPW LCD display. Here's a taster:
Before I bought the 2405, I was using a 21" Sony Trinitron E500. This 70-plus pound beast had a

Only a fool could believe such a positive review. It's pure opinion and no scientific fact. I have read so much about this monitor and it's problems it's ridiculous. Just like this review Razz

Yeah the review is lame, but the specs on this monitor look great & the price is unbeatable. I only found great reviews/comments. What's wrong with this monitor?

Well, it suffers from backlight bleeding and uneven colour. It is a good price sure, I agree. If all you want it for is gaming, email and web then I think you will be very happy.

Fact is that it falls down as soon as you try to do any photoshop work. Digital painting, web design, print, texturing etc. If you want one with professional image quality then get the Samsung 244T. If you want ridiculously amazing image quality then get an Eizo, but that comes with a hefty price tag.

It just comes down to the fact that you get what you pay for.
